Helen Conroy live at the CBH April 28th

Be sure not to miss singer/songwriter Helen Conroy playing her Indie folk pop music live for us in the wine bar at the Commercial Boutique Hotel on Saturday April 28th. Helen started her classical training at the age of seven with piano and then decided to pick up a two string guitar at the age of fourteen and start teaching herself to play. After playing the two string guitar so well, and preferring guitar over piano, she managed to become proficient in playing the six sting guitar and has not looked back since.
Helen has delighted us with many original songs, even making it to the Triple J’s unearthed list which helped launch her career as the successful folk pop singer/songwriter that she is today. Her music has been compared to the likes of Missy Higgins and Megan Washington. She herself has described her music as ‘simple melodies with passionate lyrics that are raw and honest’. After all isn’t that exactly what we want in music?
We were very lucky to have the gorgeous Helen Conroy as one of our very first live music gigs back in November of 2015. AND We are so very pleased to welcome Helen Conroy back to the CBH to perform live for us again this April. Gig starts at 7pm everyone, and as usual we will have our great range of amazing national and local craft beers both bottled and on tap for your enjoyment on the night. It truly is the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening with great live music, and great craft beer and wine. AND of course our amazing menu will be available both in the restaurant and the wine bar to keep your tummy content while you tune into the amazing sounds of Helen Conroy.
