Abe Stewart and Bart Stenhouse live in the wine bar November 2nd

We are very pleased to be welcoming Bart Stenhouse and Abe Stewart back into the wine bar Friday September 6th. Two great musicians jamming together in perfect harmony to create a fantastic evening of live acoustic guitar and flamenco guitar heartfelt music.
Bart Stenhouse and Abe Stewart have a rich history, which has seen them travelling around the world together creating raw and intense original music.
In February 2014, Bart and Abe released their debut jazz fusion album ‘Blue Benares’. The album was recorded in just nine days in the Indian city of Varanasi and was an intense musical collaboration and partnership with some of India’s finest musicians within the Varanasi region. Blue Benares is a unique album in that it showcases the skill of Bart and Abe as they worked with local musicians to create raw, original and heartfelt arrangements in a very short time.
It’s guaranteed to be a fantastic night of world jazz fusion music with an original flair. These talented musicians are putting together an eclectic evening of acoustic and flamenco guitar playing, cajon box drumming and they are even throwing in a piano into the mix! Abe Stewart even plans on performing popular covers on his acoustic guitar- including Sting, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles, and his own original music as well. It’s guaranteed to be a very entertaining evening indeed! Get in early to grab a table as these two musicians are indeed popular. We will have a great selection of local balandeen and granite belt wines available, and local craft beers both bottled and on tap. Gig starts at 630pm everyone! See you all there!
