Regulars to the CBH wine bar, Bart Stenhouse and Abe Stewart have a rich history which has seen them travelling around the world together creating raw and intense original music. In February 2014, Bart and Abe released their debut jazz fusion album ‘Blue Benares’. The album was recorded in just nine days in the Indian city of Varanasi and was an intense musical collaboration and partnership with some of India’s finest musicians within the Varanasi region. Blue Benares is a unique album in that it showcases the skill of Bart and Abe as they worked with local musicians to create raw, original and heartfelt arrangements in a very short time. Abe and Bart will be performing their original music along with popular rock covers – featuring popular artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sting, Paul Simon and the Beatles. A fantastic collaboration of instruments including guitar, piano and even the Cajon box!
