CBH sleeps out for the St Vincent’s Community Sleep out for homelessness

Three cheers for Kathleen! The Commercial Boutique Hotel is pleased to pledge our support by raising awareness to our local community homelessness crisis. This year, St Vincent’s charity has organised a community sleep out to help raise much needed awareness to the homelessness issue in Australia. By participating in The St Vincents Community Sleepout, the Commercial Boutique Hotel is hoping to help raise awareness to this extremely important issue.

Our highly valued staff member Kathleen has kindly volunteered to represent The Commercial Boutique Hotel. With a big smile on her face, Kathleen is determined in her choice to brave the cold by sleeping out as part of the St Vincents Community Sleepout in just a simple sleeping bag. And we could not be more proud!

The St Vincents Community Sleepout is a fantastic initiative run by St Vincents to shed light on the homelessness issue in general, and in particular in our Tenterfield community to help raise money for these well deserving people. Times are tough, homelessness is indeed a crisis in Australia and it is hoped that this initiative will not only raise awareness to the increasing homelessness issue crippling our country, but generate funds to help feed, clothe and provide a warm safe place for anyone in need. Kindness is key. If you can, please give any amount big or small – every little bit helps!
