Gig in the Garden live music Sundays at the CBH

We love our outdoor live music opportunities at The Commercial Boutique Hotel. One Sunday a month during 2019 we will be holding a ‘Gig in the Garden’ event in the CBH’s backyard. Each Gig in the Garden will be advertised both here on our blog and also as posts on our facebook page, so be sure to check in regularly to see who will be playing. It really is the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon during Summer! Our back deck and grassed area with large bush trees covering picnic tables is the perfect location to laze and relax with a great craft beer and snack from the kitchen while listening to great local solo musicians perform.

Each Gig in the Garden showcases two local artists performing a session each from 130pm until 5pm. The New England area has some great local up and coming artists eager to show their skills and impress you with their talented voices and original compositions.

We’ll also have a special outdoor event food menu available the whole afternoon and great drinks specials. We have a great selection of local craft beers both bottled and on tap, and beer bucket specials available exclusively during Gig in the Garden Sunday sessions. And you can’t beat the local Balandean and Granite Belt wines that we have available for our wine drinkers.

It truly is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, out in the sun or under one of our large trees listening to great live local music while enjoying the great selection of craft beers we have on offer. We’ve got Murrays Brewing Company, Stone and Wood brewing, Mountain Goat Brewing and Burleigh Heads Brewing just to name a few! Not to mention that dogs on lead are very welcome in the garden as we are a pet friendly establishment. You can’t wish for anything better on a Sunday afternoon!
