Be sure to not miss the Tenterfield Autumn Festival this Easter long weekend 2nd to 5th April. We have a jammed packed schedule of entertainment all weekend long including live music at The Commercial Boutique Hotel on the Sunday night, The Lift the Country Spirit concert, bare foot bowls, farmers markets, Bon fire nights, tug of war, kids entertainment including a GIGANTIC Easter egg Hunt. What a perfect way for the family to spend the long Easter weekend.

Easter is the best time of the year to visit Tenterfield! With the changing leaves the entire town is transformed into stunning work of art. The landscape is filled with stunning burnt oranges and deep crimson reds as the trees change their leaves and the town transforms into it’s Autumn attire. The hikes and trails are ablaze with colour and looks so different from when you visited in Summer. It’s time you returned to Tenterfield for a romantic Autumn escape. AND The Commercial Boutique Hotel have a selection of cheeky local red wines ready for your return!

The Lift The Country Spirit Concert Easter Saturday is the hight light of the Tenterfield Autumn Festival and features a great line up of Australian talent- Shannon Noll, The Buckleys, Melanie Dyer, Nine Year Sister and Tahlia Matheson. Each day there will be a variety of local musical artists showcasing their talent at select venues around the town. Or if it’s the slower country pace you are searching for there are art exhibitions, morning teas and the Tenterfield Farmers and Producers markets showcasing some of the region’s best available produce. It’s a regular weekend market for all farmers, growers, producers and artisans from Tenterfield. Have a lazy wander through the stalls and prepare to be tantalised with the range of gorgeous ripe fruit and veg, herbs, plants, artisan breads, pasta, stunning flowers, local honey and eggs and handmade preserves and baked goods- not to mention sewing and premium silver creations as well!

At the end of each day come back and relax enjoying a glass of local wine near the fire place and a hearty autumn meal from our restaurant and retire to one of our luxury rooms to prepare to do it all again tomorrow!
