Thor Phillips playing country blues live music June 2nd in the wine bar

Thor Phillips opened our live music schedule for the new year at The Commercial Boutique Hotel, and it’s about time we had him back to play live music for us again in the wine bar. Well known for his country blues roots music in the New England area, Thor sure has been busy performing live music in a wide range of Country Music Festivals – Tamworth, Broadbeach, Dorrigo, Ballina just to name a few!
Having performed at the prestigious Tamworth Country Music Festival yearly since 2014, we know we are onto a good thing with Thor playing live for us in our wine bar.

When asked to pigeon hole his music, Thor quite frankly says his lyrics are ‘unapologetically original’ his country music style is ‘sitting somewhere in that sweet spot between blues, bluegrass, country, folk and rock’
His music is powerful, his voice rich and his performance is filled with a mixture of great confidence and deep vulnerability. He truly is an outstanding performer and we are so looking forward to welcoming him back June 2nd. Live music gig starts at 630pm in the wine bar. Be sure to grab a drink and table early and get ready to settle in for an amazing evening of country blues roots music. We have a superb range of national and local craft beers (both bottled and on tap) and wines to keep you well hydrated while you tune in.
