Winter Warmers and Gigs Galore at the CBH

Good things are happening during winter at the Commercial Boutique Hotel. What more could you ask for when it’s cold outside….cosy fireplaces, hearty new winter menu, delicious hot mulled wine, and awesome live music gigs by the fireside. And gosh do we have a great line up of entertainment all winter long!

Winter is the indeed the perfect time to snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a glass of your favourite local wine. Not only do we have four original art deco fireplaces roaring every night with cosy lounges, we of course have a premium selection of local reds and whites of all varieties, other select boutique vineyard blends, and top shelf spirits and liqueurs available to enjoy.

Our chef and bar mixologists have carefully crafted a decadent mulled wine recipe especially for Friday and Saturday nights during winter to keep you extra toasty warm as well. And it’s delicious!

And of course nothing says winter better than hearty winter soups and rich risottos. Our chef has created a new hearty winter menu with heaps of winter vegetables. We have an AWESOME line up of live music on Friday and Saturday nights in the wine bar, and now have our Sunday Afternoon Fireside sessions on select Sundays too. We’ll be hosting a variety of local and guest entertainers specialising in acoustic country music, urban funk R&B, blues and roots, rock pop, and world fusion jazz to keep you coming back each weekend for more! We are even bringing the piano into the wine bar!
